Evening Storytimes for children ages 3 through 8 will be held on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm on April 24th, May 1st, May 8th, May 15th and May 22nd. Children are invited to attend in their pajamas. Stories, songs, activities and crafts will be featured. NO registration. Call the youth services department at 822-9102 for more information.

Interested in preparing to be a successful babysitter? The American Red Cross will present a Babysitter's Training Course at the library on Wednesday, August 21st from 9:00am-4:00pm. Ages 11-15. A non-refundable fee for the course and materials is $85.00. Class size is limited to 12 participants. Lunch and snacks will be provided by the library.

The 2013 KIDS Reading Across Rhode Island book selection is Inside Out & Back Again by Thanhha Lai. Join the festivities at the RI State House on Saturday, June 1st from 1:00-4:00pm. Author Thannha Lai will speak at 2:30pm. There will be a book sale and signing, crafts and games. NO registration required.
