Halloween Spooktacular - Trunk & View

    Halloween Spooktacular!

    Saturday, October 24th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Central Coventry Park, 275 Provident Place

    (Rain date: Sunday, October 25th)

The Coventry Department of Parks and Recreation is holding the annual Halloween Spooktacular, in partnership with presenting sponsor Coventry Public Library. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will look a little different than it has in the past, but we still hope to make it a fun event for all who attend!

This is a FREE event for families to drive through and view scarecrows and decorated trunks from the comfort of their own vehicle. Children will receive a prefilled goodie bag with candy and treats after passing by all of the decorations.

The Parks and Recreation department is seeking families, such as yours, to decorate a scarecrow that will be part of a haunted drive-through trail. We expect over 1000 adults and youth to enjoy your decorations. We have space for 20 families or individuals to participate in this year’s event. Scarecrows will be spread out, so you’ll have plenty of room to get creative and create a truly unique experience for each passing vehicle. Open to Coventry residents only.

For more information or to sign-up, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department between Monday, October 5, 2020, and Friday, October 16, 2020, by phone at 401-822-9107 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
