Coventry Public Library & the Wantaknowhow Garden Club present:

In the Garden with Eleanor Roosevelt

    Monday, May 6th @ 6 p.m.

It is the summer of 1949. Eleanor Roosevelt is hosting a garden picnic at her home in Hyde Park where she is recognizing contributions to the Victory Garden effort during World War II.

Join us at the library for this interactive program which includes both first person portrayal and a lecture. Following a “visit” with Eleanor, participants will learn about Victory Gardens past, present and future via an informative, visually enhanced Power Point lecture.

Registration is recommended for planning purposes. To register, please contact Lauren at or 822-9104.
