On Wednesday, September 17th, from 3 to 5 pm, families with children of all ages can enjoy an outdoor StoryWalk® at the Coventry Public Library. Little Night, Nochecita is a bilingual English/Spanish picture book by Yuyi Morales. This StoryWalk® is being offered by the Coventry Public Library and the Literacy Volunteers of Kent County. This StoryWalk® is weather permitting, with a rain date of September 24th. This is a drop-in family program. Please call Youth Services at 822-9102 with any questions.
Literacy Volunteers of Kent County, Inc. (LVKC), housed in the Coventry Public Library, is a non-profit organization with a nationally recognized Adult Literacy Program that has been serving the Rhode Island community since 1980. LVKC trains volunteers to tutor adults whose limited English literacy skills prevent them from functioning effectively in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
